Thank you voters!  I appreciate your vote of confidence.  We were victorious at the polls for the Democratic Primary on June 9th.

You have my word that I will continue to work on your behalf.  I am committed to public safety. 

Jail overcrowding has been greatly reduced.  Rehabilitative programs have been greatly increased.  These are results of my "prevention is cheaper than correction" approach. 

We will continue with teaching "Class Action: Reducing Gangs in Virginia" to 4th and 5th grade students throughout the City of Newport News.  Equally important to our work with young people, is our continued commitment to senior citizens.  The Newport News Sheriff's Office is a TRIAD partner whereby we offer programs to help keep seniors from becoming victims of crime.

Your "yes vote" at the Democratic Primary shows that you share my forward thinking vision and my commitment to improving the quality of life for all Newport News residents.

I must ask one more thing of you to complete the work.  Please vote to re-elect me as Sheriff of Newport News at the General Election on November 3rd!!!
