Sheriff Gabriel A. Morgan interviewed John Jones, Director of the Virginia Sheriff's Association in Richmond on April 7, 2009. They discussed the importance of VSA membership.

The association lobbies the General Assembly on the behalf of Sheriffs and their Deputies. The VSA's strength helped overturn a proposed 7% budget cut for the next fiscal year and restored full funding to ALL Sheriffs' Offices statewide.
